Yoga & meditation in the lemon orchards
Open-air morning practice, Annapurna valley silence and organic farm food in rural Fulbari, Pokhara.

Yoga meditation farm, Pokhara
Open-air yoga at a farm retreat in Pokhara
A farm morning starts before the valley wakes. Birds, then kettle, then bare feet on the wooden deck above the lemon grove. Our open-air yoga space sits at the top of the orchard, facing east, so the first sunrise salutations happen with the Annapurna ridgeline still pink behind them.
There is no studio mirror, no class timetable to race to, and no entry fee. Mats and bolsters wait on the deck, the practice runs at whatever pace your body asks for, and breakfast is ready the moment you come down from the trees. This is mindful travel in Pokhara the way the hills have always done it.

Meditation with Annapurna mountain views
Late afternoon is for sitting. The meditation platform looks west across the Fulbari valley toward Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre and the terraced fields below, which is why guests describe this as the calmest hour of their day. On clear autumn evenings the snow turns gold while you watch it.
We keep the guidance simple — breath counts, a short body scan, then twenty minutes of plain silence with the valley sound. Beginners are welcome every evening, and anyone who prefers to walk instead of sit can take the slow orchard loop through the lemon rows.
- Sunrise breathwork facing the eastern ridge
- Guided evening meditation above the orchard
- Silent walking meditation through the village paths

Farm quiet vs city retreat
Why farm quiet beats a busy Pokhara city retreat
Pokhara town can give you a yoga studio on almost every block. What it cannot give you is the quiet, the food and the distance from screens that a working organic farm provides every single day.
Silence instead of traffic
There is no lakeside honking here. The loudest sounds at our meditation retreat in Pokhara are birds, wind in the citrus leaves, and the occasional temple bell.
Food picked this morning
Every meal is cooked from organic farm produce, so mindful travel in Pokhara also means eating light, local and chemical-free.
A real digital detox
Wi-Fi stays in the common room. Mornings on the yoga deck happen without notifications, which is what a city retreat rarely lets you have.
Stay longer
Turn a retreat into a yoga farm stay in Nepal
Most guests arrive for three nights and wish they had booked seven. Our farm stay rooms put you a two-minute walk from the yoga deck, with organic breakfast and dinner included and mountain views from the balcony.
If you want the mornings for practice and the afternoons for something useful, join our volunteering programme — four hours of organic farming a day, five days a week, with the rest of the time free for yoga, reading and valley walks.
